Reflections: What is a successful learning experience?

Today Miss Kearns and Mr Apperley did some work with students around reflections. On a daily basis, students reflect on their maths and literacy lessons. However, most reflections are more like a diary entry instead of reflective thought.

To guide the children with their reflections we looked at "What is a successful learning experience?" Children then compared their answers with the Reflections Success Criteria Matrix which was introduced as a guide. Here are some of their answers. Our syndicate goal by the end of the year is to have insightful reflective students who can articulate what their learning pathway is. In addition, our children will know how to evaluate their learning and look at next steps.
