Bullying-free New Zealand Week

Week 3 in the Senior Syndicate promises to be a busy but exciting week! Tomorrow, the Senior Syndicate will start "Bullying-free New Zealand Week" (16-20 May 2016) with a powhiri to launch the new website:

SFDS Year 7 and 8 students have been working with the New Zealand Police and have developed some bullying-free videos. The Bullying-free launch provides an opportunity to show the students’ amazing work. We have worked hard on our video's last term and the results are amazing! We owe a big thank you to Michelle for giving up her time to work with our kids. Her resources and ideas have made the clips look professional.

Important guests coming tomorrow include; The Commissioner for Children, representatives
from; New Zealand Police; the Ministry of Education; and BPAG. The launch will take place at
Octopus House (the old IB Surf Lifesaving club), The Esplanade, Island Bay. We will be taking the school Kapa Haka and Years 7 & 8 students; Sorry, but due to limited numbers THIS IS AN INVITATION ONLY EVENT. There will be lots of photos taken of the event so we will update the blog with how the day went. Here is a sneak peak of one of the video's that will be shared at the event.
